Application Process

The Birmingham Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee accepts applications on the first Monday of each month at 9:00 am sharp. Please call (205)849-5522 to verify date and time.

Basic Requirements

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
  3. Minimum math - must have completed one full year of high school algebra with a passing grade or one post high school algebra course with a passing grade.
  4. Must have qualifying score on the NJATC aptitude test.
  5. Must provide official transcript or transcripts for high school and post high school education showing courses and grades.
  6. Must have and maintain a valid driver\'s license.
  7. Must pass a drug screen test.
